Wax Aftercare
Facial Waxing Aftercare
Your skin may be slightly pink or sensitive after waxing. This is normal and should calm within a few hours.
For the next 24 hours:
- Avoid heat (hot showers, saunas, steam)
- Skip workouts or excessive sweating
- Avoid makeup if possible for the rest of the day
- No exfoliating acids, retinol, or active skincare
- Avoid sun exposure or tanning
Helpful tips:
- Keep skin clean and hydrated with gentle products
- Wear SPF daily
- Avoid touching or picking the area
- A soothing aloe or calming serum can help reduce redness
Brazilian Wax Aftercare
The skin can be sensitive after waxing, so gentle care will help prevent irritation and ingrown hairs.
For the next 24 hours:
- Avoid workouts, hot tubs, saunas, and swimming
- Avoid tight clothing or friction in the area
- No tanning or excessive heat
- Avoid sexual activity
Helpful tips:
- Wear loose, breathable clothing
- Keep the area clean and dry
- Apply a soothing oil or post-wax product if recommended
- Begin gentle exfoliation after 2–3 days to help prevent ingrown hairs
Consistency matters:
Hair grows in cycles, so it usually takes 3–4 waxes to see the smoothest, longest-lasting results.
